Face Lift
Face lift is a procedure designed to reduce or eliminate several of the more visible signs of aging, including deep creases and sagging facial skin. During face lift surgery, skin along the face and neck is lifted and the underlying muscles are tightened to produce a youthful-looking facial contour. Eyelid surgery is used to correct cosmetic eye problems as well as inherited traits that impair vision and contribute to a “droopy” or “tired” appearance. At our Connecticut practice, we approach eyelid surgery in several ways. We commonly perform eyelid surgery on the upper eyelids to remove overhanging skin that descends over the lids, and we also offer eyelid surgery on the lower lids to remove the excess skin and pockets of fat that cause unattractive “bags” under the eyes. By tightening the skin and muscle and removing small pockets of fat, we can make your eyes appear younger and give you a more attentive, alert look.
Eyelid surgery can produce amazing results, especially when combined with a face lift or wrinkle treatments like BOTOX® Cosmetic and JUVÉDERM®.
