BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a product used to treat forehead creases, fine lines and wrinkles near the eyes, and furrows between the brows. Sculptra
Sculptra is a synthetic injectable material known as "poly-L-lactic acid", which is an injectable material that stimulates the body's own collagen to smooth out lines and wrinkles and replace volume in the face and cheeks. It is also beneficial in the treatment of recessed temple areas and deep scars. This material is biodegradeable (able to be broken down by the body) and does not harm the body. The results from Sculptra are not immediate. After the initial swelling goes down the treated area may look as it did before the treatment. It takes time to gradually increase skin thickness and correct depressions in the skin. Usually 2 - 3 skin treatments are required, with natural-looking effects becoming noticeable after approximately 6 weeks. Although it may take a longer period of time to achieve the improvement you are looking for, the results are natural and long lasting. Clinical studies have shown that the results of Sculptra can last for more than 3 years. This is an office procedure with little or no downtime.
